"One Shot" Backlog

This week James is Joined by members of Chicago’s Otherworld Theater company for some high melodrama space adventure run in the truly delightful, Lasers and Feelings.

Batman, Indiana Jones, James Bond, Tom Riddle, and The Doctor chase down the mysterious doctor Faust to recover the necromonicon. Their chase leads them to a conspiracy that could end up threatening the world, space time, and most importantly, AMERICA.

In order to support our boys fighting over seas Wayne Industries has organized a charity auction to raise money for war bonds. The auction will rent antiquities from the Wayne private collection, as well as a few on loan from the nearby Miskatonic University.

After finding the Flamingo and Black Mask dead at the hands of Deathstroke our heroes still have no idea what happened to Batman. Meanwhile the Joker and Mad Hatter are missing from Arkham, and army of hypnotized teens in red hoods is doing dirty work all over the city, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, someone has actually broken IN to Black Gate. When it rains it pours, and in Gotham it is monsoon season.

Dedicated heroes might recognize Flight of the Robins from one of ONE SHOT first posts on P&HS. Flight of the Robins is one of James’ gencon traditions, it is also a Shadowrun 4th edition module that is available for download right here.

This week as part of our month long C2E2 celebration, James invites John Patrick Coen, Chuck Pettitt, and Luke Null to climb in tide the head of the Clown Prince of Crime to bring some mayhem to Gotham City.

This week Alex changes the plot of the entire game with an off handed remark, Collin learns not to make people endure their greatest fears, Maggie has to soothe the heart of a frightened beast with a song, and Jessa gets closer to her god.

This week our party makes a deal with Lucifer the trustworthy after recovering the fabled “Audio Codex.” The gang learns about the customary drinks of the region they wandered into. And Collin has fun turning into various animals.

In a spiritual sequel to The Crazy Partiers, James leads Alex Manich, Maggie Dempsey, Collin Cunningham, and Jessa Eden-Quinn on another madcap fantasy romp. Apart from Jessa, everyone is new to RPGs and ready to learn!
