After a zombie outbreak destroyed civilization humanity has begun to rebuild. Many humans are gathered in fortified quarantine zones called “The Recession.” There, life is very similar to the way it was before the outbreak, and people look forward to one day winning the world back from the rotting clutches of the undead.
Yuuta and Mihal are in a fight for their lives with the mechanized forces of the mainland government. The Oni princess carries critical information that could secure the future of her people. Yuuta carries a terrible secret that could bring the shadows of his past back to haunt him. Every string of fate is tangled in this battle.
After an encounter with the mechanical leader of the mercenaries working for the mainland government the village must band together with these strange outsiders to defend themselves. Even with the help of an Oni and a Powerful monk they face destruction. Will they find the strength to defend themselves?
The village happened upon by our Oni and Monk is being threatened by men who have sold their souls to iron. Unless the villagers surrender the location of the Jahl-Yu Onit to the main land government, they risk losing everything.
An injured Oni is rescued by a wandering monk after her village was destroyed by the mainland army. She has in her possession evidence that the attacks on Oni villages by the mainland government are not to protect citizens from “monsters” as they claim. Can she reach the next Oni village in time warn her kinsman?

Our intrepid scavengers scavengers dig themselves deeper in their pursuit of wealth. Will they be consumed by the greed that drives them, or is there a light at the end of the tunnel?
Spurred on my thoughts of additional valuable trade good our heroes venture further into the ruins buried deep within the bowels of the beast. At what point does greed outweigh reason? Will they score the biggest scavenge in history, or are they doomed to die far from the world they know.
Shortly before the renaissance all of human civilization was swallowed by an unstoppable monster the size of mountains. Humanity was devastated, but a fraction of the populace struggles to live on inside the beast. Mank survive as scavengers, digging through the remnants of the human world for food and supplies.
