The crew lays out their strategy for battling Inquisitor Sadet. If their fighting is as anywhere near as uncoordinated and chaotic as their planning, then they are dead for sure.
The CAMPAIGN podcast is an actual play podcast where a small, consistent group of Chicago nerds get together to record role-playing games. It is hosted by Kat Kuhl.
CAMPAIGN focuses on long-form or “campaign” gaming.
By this, we mean that each week, Kat leads a team of improvisers (James D’Amato, John Patrick Coan, and Johnny O’Mara) through a continuous story that could take months or even years to complete. CAMPAIGN is currently set in the Star Wars universe, and uses the Edge of the Empire gaming system.
If CAMPAIGN has a goal, it’s to show how character-driven storytelling can positively impact all classic elements of long-form analogue gaming, and turn out a compelling and entertaining narrative.
Aava and Zero confront Raxus only to discover she has been completely taken by The Fanged God. They must decide a way to defeat her and what they are willing to risk to do it.
After a lengthy explanation of human behavior and imperial tactics to the Verpine, the boys take a moment to relax before heading off to face Inquisitor Sadet. THE DUNGEON DOME CARD GAME Back here!
The boys pester the Verpine to give them dogs to eat. Oh, also they deliver them world shattering evidence of imperial cruelty that could provoke a civil war. Tryst and Leenik seem pretty hung up on the dog thing tho.
We play Hearts by That’s No Moon rules, which means, I think, that we just win now.
This is the third fight that’s taken place in this gymnasium this arc. The boys really liked this set piece, huh?
