  1. Tim says:

Real sweet episode guys and gals. I have to say I really love the out takes at the end of each 3 episode series, it really makes me laugh and shows how much fun guys have making the show. Also it’s nice how there’s always a bit of a spread with how familiar everyone is with the setting or system you are creating characters in.

Have to agree that space combat rules suck the vacuum of space in FFG, though I hear the new system has fixed that, if that’s a slanderous lie then the Ing brothers of the Silhouette Zero podcast have managed the home-brew something that works very well and conveys the appropriate level of cinematic joy and danger.

Also force move is definitely OP as all heck but interestingly enough they did tweek it (I came into FFG starwars via Force and Destiny); they made the same call as you guys did about the hurl which makes a Sil 0 object a base damage of 5 instead of nothing. They also clarified the rules about hurl so that it is the difficulty of the silhouette size that are throwing that you use to attack with and they do still get soak against it (as well as any other combat modifiers e.g. targets defense or adversary ranks). And to make intra-party stuff less one-sided as well as those bigger NPC’s they suggest rules for resisting force abilities for non-force users.

Anyway, love the show. Keep up the great content. ^_^
