Campaign Episode 1

Fleeing their misadventure aboard the unfinished Death Star, the crew of the Mynock find themselves low on fuel in an unfamiliar system. Worse yet, this strange world may be a hideout for smugglers and bounty hunters who have ties to the Empire.

New to the Trsy, Leenik, and Bacta’s escapades? Check out their earlier adventures under the banner of the ONE SHOT podcast:

    Woohoo, great show!

James, bugger all means “nothing” mate :p it’s the equivalent of “f… all”.
I’m sure it’s space slang that Bacta is using, and not weird at all.

I see it says sign up for an email news letter, but can’t see how to do it.

Again, great show and it means double doze of James/Kat every week, nice!

Bugger all, I really need to brush up on my Space Australian.

I guess only Timothy Zhan could tell us how to pronounce Myrkr. I usually pronounce it in my head like my old man’s mums maiden name Mrhar, with plenty of rolled Rs. Consequently, ysalamiri and vornskr also cop excessive rolled Rs.

Yeah, we need to get off this planet so I can stop fretting about how you say the damn name.

I’ve always pronounced it “Murk-er” … and because of that pronunciation kind of always pictured it as a foggy world. Like a redwood forest on a damp day.

But, I could be way off base.

Pure gold. Can’t get over the quality of the recording and editing, PLUS well-paced and interesting story speckled with just the right amount of comedy. Not sure it could get better.

Saw this listed as one of the single best RPG podcasts around on a reddit threat and thought I’d give it a listen, from the first six and ONE-SHOT and having just finished this first episode, I’m totally hooked, I’m gonna spend the next few weeks catching up and I’m already looking forward to then being impatient every day I spend waiting for the next installment.

So I’m like superlate to the space party, but a friend recommended you guys so much to me, even if I usually don’t listen to any podcasts. After the 6 oneshot-episodes I’m no 5 episodes in to the campaign and I decided to leave some comments during my listening.

Even after a few episodes I just LOVE the characters. And I find myself laughing loudly in public at all the funny scenes. I adored that laundry-and-margaritas-scene so much! 🙂

And I am really impressed by the voice acting for Bacta! James’ normal voice sound so different.

Alright! One down, how many to go? Just started since I’ve caught up with Drunks and Dragons (highly, highly recommended).
Loving it so far. Can’t tell the guys apart yet since they’re all putting on Batman voices 😛

I just found this podcast, and I just happen to be reading Outbound Flight right now. When I heard the ship was called the Bargain Hunter, I freaked. Great job!

[…] Huge thanks to DM Mitchell and DM Chris for inviting me back to the Dungeon Master’s Block this week with the ever excellent, DM Neal Powell. DM Neal and DM Mainprize host a post-episode discussion on the DMB forum called DMnastics where they take the podcast topics into deeper and more practical realms. They then bring those discussions back to the DMB. This week in a special 30 minute DMnastics, DM Neal and I discuss the follow-up to episode 30, The Player’s Block, delving into what we do both as players and GMs to make a better game for everyone at the table, as well as offer some great Player examples you can listen to yourself, including a love letter to John Patrick Coan and his character on the brilliant One Shot Podcast “Campaign”.
