Episode 12

It’s time for Tryst to finally test his hand at piloting. I’m sure nothing unexpected will crop up on that front. Meanwhile, Bacta attempts to put the jump on Jorj Car’das while Leenik helps himself to a second serving of meatloaf.

Hey gang, I just thought you should know… I blame/ thank you for getting me back into Star Wars for the first time in nearly ten years. I used to be as big a fan of Star Wars as anyone could imagine, but in 2005 (after RotS) I just fell away from it. It just stopped being fun for me.

In the same week I began to listen to The Campaign podcast, and saw the Millennium Falcon sequence in the Ep. VII trailer. Together, they stirred an affection for Star Wars that had long been dormant. “There has been an awakening”, if you will. 😀

I’m back to the point where I recently bought the X-Wing tabletop miniatures game, and have been playing it a LOT.

Basically, I just wanted to thank you all for reminding me that Star Wars can be a lot of fun.

Thank you so much, guys. You’ve reconnected me to a big part of my youth.

    1. Oh man! Do yourself a favor and watch the Clone Wars animated series on Netflix. I guarantee you will love it. My favorite arc is the Umbara story. It sparked my love for clones and it is a big part of Bacta’s back story. It all starts with Darkness on Umbara, Season 4 Episode 7. Watch it and get pumped because that is the SECOND BEST clone story on that show.

Thanks for listening, and my the force be with you!

And here I had written off all of the CG animated versions of Star Wars. I loved the old animated one that bridged episodes 2 and 3. General Grievous was an absolutely awesome bad guy in that one (better than his feeble looking and incompetent version shown in the film).
Thanks for mentioning the suggestion to Danicus, I never would have given them a shot if I hadn’t seen this.

As of yesterday, I’m almost done with the first season of Clone Wars. That show is WAY better than I was expecting it to be. Thank you for the recommendation!

        1. I am seriously glad you liked it! Also that is easily the WORST season of Clone Wars. So I guess get ready to have your mind continually blown forever.

I’ll absolutely give that a look! Thank you!
