Awesome! I was just dying laughing at work when I found out that Bacta spends his nights doing chin-ups, presumably for the whole night.
Also, you should call Tony Vornskr, Tony Cool. Cause wolves are cool, and Cool checks rule.

  2. Bluebogle says:

Was Kat mentioning monkey birds in any way a Pirates of Dark Water reference, or am I just being way too hopeful that someone else remembers that awesome 90s cartoon.

    1. I remember that cartoon being a thing, but I remember almost nothing about it.

      1. Bluebogle says:

It had a fantastic and fairly unique setting for a 90s kids’ cartoon. One of the few with an over-arching plot back then as well. The first handful of episodes (6 or so) were particularly well made, with the quality dropping to the usual 90s standard after that. They never finished the story however, which I’m still upset about.

Crappy Youtube link for the first episode, provided you guys don’t mind that sort of thing being shared here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PvUZp8f2Vg

I am not sure if this has been mentioned before but the name of the planet ‘Myrkr’ actually stands for ‘Darkness’ in old Icelandic (/Old Norse).

I was just wondering if that was a coincidence or intentional on your part.

Really enjoying the story so far.

    1. Kat Kuhl says:

Hi! That’s pretty neat!! I did not come up with the planet Myrkyr. It’s from Star Wars EU/Legends books. I bet you anything the name was intentional.

      1. Elmithian says:

That is rather is clever of them. Of course using old/nearly dead language for ideas for names is a good way to give names a dual meaning.

I am pretty sure this is not the right place to ask this. But do you guys have any plans on taking on the Paranoia (XP) game system?

I know that using that system might be a bit challenging due go the backstabbing nature of it but I think it might be a fun system to try out.

Of course this is merely an idea/suggestion on my part. I merely felt that the system might fit your players eccentricities well (it is also a very good system for one shots)

I do hope I am not overstepping my boundaries with this suggestion of mine.

  4. Alisa says:

Maybe it is me… none of them are working. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    1. Kat Kuhl says:

Yeah. Sorry. Hey. We’re experiencing technical difficulties in that our new server provider is down. We’re hoping they’ll have it figured by Monday.

  5. Catrinity says:

The dialogue between Bacta and Tryst at night was SO good!

And I’m happy that Tony seems to stick around. I mean, that’s basically what SC do, right? Collecting strange items and lonely kids and wild animals and keeping them forever… 😉
