92. Legend of Five Rings Rings Part 1

Podcast Episode

In the wake of the great war Rokugon is enjoying a fragile peace between the clans. It may be short lived as strife is building on the border of the Crab and Spider.

Their lands are separated by a great river which has just shifted its path. Now the Spiders claim their territory has grown and the Crab insist the land belongs to them regardless of the river’s whim.

The Empress has sent a representative from the dragon clan to act as a mediator and resolve the issue without bloodshed.

I was waiting for this episode with anticipation since James and Jim talked this session up at DeMystics, and so far it’s pretty interesting. I eagerly await more.

I hope you enjoy it! This campaign is a little different in that it has a slow build up, with increasing levels of tension and mystery, until the big finale. I hope it will live up to your expectations!

I’m excited to hear about that huge RP argument that James said would go down, especially considering how stalwart and soft spoken his character has been so far.

You guys should consider trying L5R’s forgotten sister game 7th Sea if you guys like L5R.

7th Sea was a weird and wonderful pirate 16th century setting amalgamation with similar rules from the same company.

So instead of Japanese stereotypes it’s European stereotypes 😀

We’re pretty big fans of 7th Sea. It will likely be some time before we get to it, however, as it’s fairly well known. One day all-Usuran bear-riders will happen though. No worries there.

May be some day, we have a ton on the slate. I know Kat Loves 7th Sea.
