SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO

Contact your reps DAILY

How do I find my reps?

This website lets you put in your Zipcode to find your reps.

You have two senators. Call them all the time.

You CAN call any of the house reps in your state, which it’ll make sense to do if they are on a committee that’s working on a specific subject of note.

What do I say to them? Instead of Googling how to speak to/write to a rep, look up sample scripts for a specific subject. What you’ll be saying will change as things continues to move. Staying on top of what’s happening is a part of effective action.

Volunteer Time and Money

there are TONS of ways to do this. I like this resource, because it breaks down some of the bigger kids.

Protest

Be safe, and don’t put other protestors in danger while protesting. Learn your rights, and how to help amplify minority voices. Do this stuff mindfully.

There’s a ton more. I’m going to be talking about what I’m up to on twitter at @wolvesarekuhl for the foreseeable future if you have questions, or want to share what you’re up to. Much love.

Stetson Kennedy is one of my all-time heroes. Turning to Superman to help bring down real-world hate is just unparalleled genius.

Also: I’m back after a long time away! I missed you all. 🙂
